New Thoughts, The Sound of the Atlas

My old Atlas Metal working lathe, has developed a squealing bearing in the rear spindle shaft. It is a bitter wrenching sorrowful and painful sound as the metal wears away at itself.
The Lathe was made in 1936

Old Film, Panoramic found

I processed a roll of film that had been sitting on my shelf for a number years. I seem to gather old rolls of black and white, this roll must have been taken last year using my crude home-made panoramic camera.

The Broken Shard

I'm clearing the van out, and found a shard of glass from a day I spent with Sean and his Stereo Wet Collodion Camera. I remember the small glass plate breaking, one half of two images, one adjacent and slightly parallax to to the other

Making work in the powerhub

This afternoon i attempted to make a number of glass plates in the powerhub, the weather was dark, exposure times the longest yet, the results.. interesting.

Stavros and Cathy made work around the building and helped me from time to time
