This afternoon i attempted to make a number of glass plates in the powerhub, the weather was dark, exposure times the longest yet, the results.. interesting.

Royal Photographic Society Journal Publication
This is an interesting June.
The visit to the Royal photographic Society sparked some interest in the nature of the Van, and its hidden meanings. I did not realize quite what it meant to have something like this and to have made it myself and with others.
David Land from the RPS Journal contacted me and with Mr de Vere, strung together a four page article from the diary. The issue was published in june, David Land titled the article 'The Art of Darkness' the article before us was on Nadav Kander!

Flow, the night after
The Powerhub in maidstone Kent, was the venue for the final installation work of the MA.
A hundred years ago it was the site of a new evolution in architectural engineering. it was here in the old building that the Till and Stevenson bus was engineered and built. Work was made to fit into and compliment the building.

Brighton Photo Fringe
Mr. de Vere and I took the Darkvan to Brighton sea front for part of the Brighton photo-fringe, we had a good but very chilly weekend, making a number of plates. and screening super8 movies to confused passers by from the van!

The fringe was an interesting experience, demonstrating and meeting a multitude of interesting characters, including Shamas Ryan, a polaroid 20x24" photographer.
Max Anderson, a local photographer made a small documentary series of pictures of the Darkvan.
